Summer is killing me
I hate it! My most hated season, week of the year – Holy Week! Summer is officially here- I’m melting and its killing me!
I woke up at around 9AM this morning! And I am stuck in my room with my AC on and an electric fan and still, I can feel the heat from the outside!
Bored! Tired! And I badly need a greasy burger, Iced Venti Caramel Macchiato, cozy ambiance, and internet connection!
Bring on the rain! I can’t stand the sun!
Deadly Chocolate Sinners
It’s been a week now since I started craving for Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Karnival. Every time I passed by at EDSA, I can’t help myself from drooling over their billboard. I know that Krispy Kreme is just few blocks away from Farmers but thinking of the long walk and dirty stretch of the foot bridge linking farmers and the other side of Cubao makes me want to just grab a cab and head right away to the office. But not last night.
My shift starts at 8PM every Saturday to cover at least 1 hour for Midshift. Since its around 6:30 PM when I got off the bus at farmers, I decided to conquer my fear of the dirty stretch of that foot bridge and walk my way to Krispy Kreme.
Inside the cab, I was thinking on what to do with the second box. I don’t want to bring that home since most of my relatives have diabetes and I just want the original chocolate glaze doughnut. Box of 6 is more than enough for me… Just me… 
I was supposed to give it away to my team but decided to come up with a contest and have the second box as the prize.
While I was coming up with the email and guidelines, I thought of extending the craze to the entire GY Team thinking that it will be a fun night to have some challenge and to lessen the stress on a Saturday night.
At first, there was no reaction coming from the team. Thinking that maybe they were not that interested, not excited or that they just don’t care. But as the first sale came in at 10:30 PM and the calls started to pour in, some members are so eager to pitch in for sales!
As a result, Anthony Ver Racimo topped the sales with an astounding 500% Sales Conversion and $229.95 Sales in just 6.5 hours! Karir!? You bet!
My team member, Erwin Carmen finished second with 75% Sales Conversion and $129.99. And third place goes to my former team member, Mary Grace Torres with 57.14% Sales Conversion and $119.96 sales value.
Good Job guys! I’m thinking of the item for next Saturday! Woot!
My Sunday Afternoon
Whew! Summer is killing me! It’s my most hated season of the year… as if we have many… Anyway due to the weather is heating up, I decided to have my hair done yesterday.
After my shift, I headed straight home to take a short nap as I was so sleepy last Saturday night. Though I was so tired of work last Saturday night due to increase of loads, I was able to manage to finish my reports and go home right away.
It was around 3:30 PM when I reached Crowne Plaza and Toni and Guy will be closing in around 2 1/2 hours. Luckily, there were not much clients are in line right now and I was able to manage to be treated right away.
After getting a massage and served with a glass of Iced Tea by Mike, Gloria lead the way to rinse my hair for my treatment. I regularly have my scalp treated since it easily gets dry and itchy due to the hot weather and some products that I’m using on my hair. Gloria gave a good scalp massage and I was able to relax and forget all about the stress and disturbances that I’ve been dealing these past few days.
Thirty minutes have passed and she took me back to the washing area to rinse my hair. Aljheal greeted me with a smile asking what I wanted this time. I told him to cut my hair short since it’s getting hotter these days and I need to a shorter one. Good thing with Aljheal is that he really discuss things with you as which is better and not. Unlike other hair stylist that I’ve dealt with in the past, I think he’s the best. He’ll give you what you’ve paid for.
After some twisting, cutting, spiking, blow drying, trimming and ironing, here’s my new look.

Right after getting my crown pampered, I tried to get some fresh air at Lacoste. I was scouting for anything that makes me happy after what happened these past few days. I’m not looking for anything extravagant ‘coz I’m suffering from a Global Financial Recession and I’m saving up for something… As i was moving along at the accessories section, I felt that my mouth is starting to move in a curvy movement. Something caught my eyes that made me smile…

Run Down of events
I know, I know… it’s been quite a long time already since I last posted an entry here. There has been a lot of things happened in my life these past few months. Just imagine its just the first quarter of 2009 and about to enter the next quarter and yet seems like 2009 is about to end.
Currently, I’m listening to Good Times With Mo (though Mo Twister is not on board right now as he was on his way to see Cold Play’s concert). It’s around 8:52 AM and I’ve been up for around 5 hours now after sleeping for about 2.5 hours.
To run down what happened to me in the past months:
1. Been trained for a month for the new account that I am currently into…
2. Went to Baguio with friends just for an overnight stay…
3. Family conflicts and issues
4. Celebrated my Grandfather’s Death Anniversary..
5. Right after Baguio, my beloved grand mother died… that’s so sad.. imagine getting the news from your sister on YM while you are doing your office report? I miss her so much like my mom… oh so sad… thinking of her makes me cry…
6. My aunt from California went home
7. Met new friends
8. Encountered RS
9. Meet up with High School friend after a year of not minding each other
10. Celebrate grandmom’s 9 days
11.Trying to absorb the new account, believe that I can manage to say Clap! Clap! hahaha
Anyway, that’s just about it…
Hoping for a brighter future
It’s already the second month of the year and, God! Time is running so fast! I am running out of time on my plans for this year.
Actually, I have already accomplished some of plans and projects but I still have a lot on the list. I need to work hard, need to stay focus, save a lot (and I mean A LOT!), and decide for what I really want for my life to happen.
I just hope that I will be able to accomplish all of my projects, as I badly need a TOTAL CHANGE in my Life, Career and Environment.
Rin on the Rox is in the house
I must admit, I never knew about them since last 15 minutes ago… TV Patrol just reported that there’s a new Internet sensation that will be the next Charice Pempengco…I tried to check YouTube right away and was amazed that these dynamic duo does exist!
Rin on the Rox is an all Filipina girl duo who are located in the US who uploaded their videos singing their own rendition of hit songs on YouTube. God! They have a great melody and what can I say, they both sound so great!
I think Erin or Rin has a powerful voice than that of Roxanne or Rox but still they sound good together. They have wide ranges on their vocals and to add up, good looks!
The two were featured in Ellen de Generes show and were invited to come over to prove their talents.
Will they be the next, M2M? hahahaha… but mind you, once you start watching, you can never go back…
A Tiring Day
It was a tiring day though we’re just inside the room listening to our trainer, Will. Today is the start of our training for the new account and though the training is fun, I feel like I am not that interested on learning. I don’t know, I have to pay attention but I think something’s missing. I can’t even update my other site… luckily I’ve finished all my tasks…It’s not the class, the account, the trainer… it has something to do with me…
Anyway, I will be starting a new project next month and I am hoping for its success…

Michelle Obama appeared in the public yesterday wearing a stunning ensemble from two young designers today.
At the Inauguration rights, Mrs. Obama wore a yellow dress made by young Cuban American designer, Isabel Toledo. She added green Jimmy Choo’s to finish the glam style this morning.
Later that night, Michelle Obama wowed the public again as she appeared at The Neighborhood Ball wearing a glittering off-white dress by a Taiwanese-American designer Jason Wu. President Obama started his speech that night by saying how he admire and beautiful his wife that night.
Lovely.. Lovely! Great Job Mrs. Obama.. Whoopi Golberg might be right.. your life is at risk for a lot of women will tear you down with your style.
